Walkthrough
Slipping Past the Cops
The mission kicks off with you in a tight spot. The boys in blue are swarming the area around Curd’s place, and you’re public enemy number one. You’ll need to use the environment to your advantage. Stick to the shadows, use dumpsters for cover, and time your movements carefully. The key here is patience; rushing will only get you a one-way ticket to the slammer. Keep an eye out for alternate routes, like fire escapes and back alleys, to bypass the police patrols.
The Murder Scene
Once you’ve given the cops the slip, you’ll arrive at the scene of Miles Curd’s untimely demise. It’s time to put on your detective hat. The area is cordoned off, but a P.I. of your caliber won’t let a little yellow tape stop them. Investigate everything. Look for clues, examine the body (from a respectful distance, of course), and piece together the events that transpired. Your trusty Detective Brush will be invaluable here.
A Friendly Elephant
Your investigation will lead you to a new character: Francesco The Elefanto. He’s a mountain of a mammal with a surprising amount of information. He’ll point you in the direction of a clandestine ‘Secret Show’. Engage him in conversation, and exhaust all dialogue options to get the full scoop. He’s your ticket to the next part of this sordid tale.
The Secret Show
Francesco wasn’t kidding. The Secret Show is a series of underground shooting galleries, a place for the city’s less-than-savory characters to test their mettle. This is where your combat skills come into play. You’ll need to be quick on the draw and accurate with your shots. The games are challenging, but the rewards are worth it. Plus, it’s a great way to stock up on ammo and other supplies before the inevitable showdown.
Boss Fight: The Hitman
After you’ve had your fun at the galleries, it’s time for the main event. A hired gun has been sent to silence you for good. This Hitman is fast, aggressive, and packs a serious punch.
Here are some tips to survive the encounter:
- Stay Mobile: Don’t stand still. Use your dash to evade his attacks and create distance.
- Use the Environment: The arena will have cover. Use it to reload and catch your breath.
- Boomstick is Your Friend: The Hitman likes to get in close. A blast from your Boomstick will make him reconsider.
- Watch for Tells: He’ll have a tell before his big attacks. Learn the pattern, and you’ll know when to dodge.
