Thingy 1: mine elevator section
In the second mine area, stop before riding the elevator onward. Check the boxes and crates nearby. The first Thingy sits in front of that stack.
Thingy 2: mansion breakable-wall room
Inside the mansion, you eventually reach the room with the wall that gets blown open. Search that room before leaving it. The second Thingy is there.
Thingy 3: swamp boat roof
Once you hit the swamp, look for the crashed boat and climb onto it. The last Thingy is on the roof.
Where to turn the side job in
You do not finish the job the moment you pick up the third item. After escaping the Cheeselegger hideout, look for the Old Cheeselegger back near the docks and hand the set in there.
